Besides the Farm being an adventure park all of its own, with amazing walks, brilliant views, woodlands to explore and rivers to swim in. We are only 10 minutes away from Llanwrtyd Wells 'Britain's smallest town' which is the home of the Monster Raving Loony Party. Llanwrtyd Wells also holds several events through out the year, including the Bog Snorkelling World Championships, the Man Vs Horse Marathon, and the Alternative World Games which run through August and is popular with Adults and Children alike. There are local Pubs and restaurants if you don't feel like campfire cooking.
20 minutes away is the market town of Builth Wells, home of the Royal Welsh Show, with a lovely high street full of independent shops. There is a selection of local shops, Including a fantastic butcher, and lovely bakery. For all necessities there are shops in Beulah and Llanwrtyd Wells.
Within an hour you can be in the beautiful Elan Valley and walking the dam or having a coffee in the visitor centre.
The Elan valley and Abergwesyn Common is one of the darkest places in the UK, with zero light pollution so it is perfect for those who love to gaze at the stars.
Here at Welsh Glamping we believe that couples and families alike should have a break away from the hussle and bustle of day to day life. Which is why we offer a unique experience of a digital detox. There is limited mobile phone signal, meaning you put your devices away and explore your surroundings, failing that reach for a book or play a board games.
